Jiří Philippe Janda is a Czech visual artist and filmmaker whose practice connects generative moving image, speculative worldbuilding and audiovisual installation.
His work examines unstable relations between bodies, technologies, ecosystems and memory. His practice-based research develops the framework of Synthetic Aesthetics.
Synthetic Aesthetics
Synthetic Aesthetics is a practice-based research framework examining generative systems as active participants in artistic decision-making and world construction. Through moving image and audiovisual installation, it explores how synthetic image-making reshapes authorship, visual trust and relations between bodies, technologies and environments.
