My Joy (Moja radosť) is a hypnotic music video for the Slovak duo Longital, exploring the transformation of emotion and body through a silent, repetitive ritual.

The central figure — the personified “Joy” — appears in various animal-like forms, changing masks, gestures, and moods as if trying to rediscover herself.

Within the slow rhythm of the song, the world turns into a dream — a melancholic space where time dissolves and movement becomes memory.

Every gesture, every touch of water, every breath beneath the mask becomes part of a symbolic cycle oscillating between calm and unrest, acceptance and resistance.

Here, “Joy” is not a feeling but a being — fragile, motionless, observing from the corner like a reflection of one’s inner states.

The video blends visual poetry with musical meditation, creating an image-world where melancholy becomes a form of silence.

Moja radosť is a visual poem about the search for balance between presence and loss, between a body that breathes and an emotion that remains quiet.

Director Statement

Jiří Philippe Janda

In Moja radosť, I wanted to capture the moment when emotion becomes body – and the body becomes ritual.
I was interested in what remains of joy once it loses its expression, when it turns into silence, into motion, into mere presence.
The figure of “Joy” embodies a feeling that has become estranged – something that once belonged to us but now observes us from the corner.
That is why she appears in different animal-like forms, existing somewhere between human and nature, dream and reality.
I built the visual as a slow poem about transformation, about returning to the body, and about melancholy as a form of calm.
For me, it is more a meditation than a story – a search for a rhythm that follows breath, water, and sound.
