Cooking with Bzzz

A grotesque cooking show from another dimension

Cooking with Bzzz is a speculative video project parodying the format of traditional TV cooking shows. The main character is an entity known as the Allbitter Chef Bzzz, who guides viewers through absurd recipes, alien guests, and surreal rituals from non-existent worlds.

Set in a reality where food isn’t necessarily meant to be eaten, cooking becomes a hybrid of communication, survival, and art. The project draws from retro sci-fi aesthetics, kitsch television, surrealism, and ecological collapse.

Beneath its colorful surface lies an ironic reflection on the Anthropocene, celebrity culture, the hunger for experience, and the erosion of meaning—a collapse that devours even interdimensional cuisine.

The project is conceived as a mini-series, with each episode presenting a new recipe, guest, and mood—ranging from absurdist comedy à la Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy to melancholic meditations on the death of flavor.

2025, video in progress

In a cooking show from another dimension, the guests don’t cook.
They bring the food, display it. Sometimes they examine it.
All the while, a song plays — strangely human in this alien ritual.

The video is a grotesque feast from a laboratory world.
Figures with insect heads and jumpsuits operate devices that might be measuring taste. Or guilt. Or maybe nothing at all.

Some say love goes through the stomach.
Others claim it’s all just a performative ritual.
And someone sings:

“I love to cook and I know I’m good at it – and the girls like it.”

This feast has no point. Just rhythm.
